This Statement applies to any account holders using the site. By registering on the site you are agreeing to this statement. Your privacy is very important to us. We wrote our Data Protection Statement to let you know important information about the security and privacy of any information you save on the site. We encourage you to read the Data Protection Statement and to use it to help you make informed choices.

Sharing Your Content and Information

You own all of the content and information you put on the site. By joining an establishment (school or college) you are agreeing to share some of your content such as CV, personal statement, webfolio and action plan with that establishment.

Safety

We do our best to keep our site safe. We need your help in order to do that, which includes these promises:

1. You will not send, post, or upload spam mail.
2. You will not upload viruses.
3. You will not access an account belonging to someone else.
4. You will not bully or cause upset to any user.
5. You will not send, post, or upload content that is hateful, threatening or pornographic.
6. You will not knowingly use the site to do anything unlawful, harmful or discriminatory.
7. You will not help or encourage any of the above.
8. If you think that any of the things written above are happening, you will report it as soon as possible to passportfolio@futuresnn.co.uk.

Registration and Account Security

1. You will not share your password, let anyone else access your account, or do anything else that might affect the security of your account.
2. We will investigate any reported abuse of the site and will take action to close down the account of anyone found to have broken these rules. In serious cases of abuse we may need to inform the police or other agencies and pass on the details of the person who is responsible.
3. Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Futures or an approved Passportfolio partner can contact you to tell you about our site or to offer you resources and support we think may help you.

Storing Documents and Content on Passportfolio

Passportfolio should not be used as a back up for important documents. When saving work and documents in the 'My Docs' area of the site always make sure you have a back up copy saved elsewhere.

Email Notifications

By choosing to accept email notifications you are agreeing to the following:

1. If you change your email address, you will update your account information on the site as soon as possible.
2. The site will send updates to your email address to alert you if you have any new notifications.

Definitions

Passportfolio Approved Partner - the organisation in your area approved to administer the website. This would usually be a company delivering careers guidance.
